'Mad Max: Fury Road' Filming Starts In June

According to star Charlize Theron filming could start as early as June 2nd 2012. Way back in 2009 Tom Hardy and Theron were both cast in the roles, with production set for 2010 in an Australian location.

Unfortunately torrential rain put an end to that turning a desert loacation into a lush water filled oasis, so unless this was going to be a Waterworld remake they would have to look elsewhere. 

Then came the announcement from director George Miller that the filming will be postponed until 2012. Since then a new location has been found in Nambia and the vehicles have been spotted getting transported there.

And now it seems according to Theron that we are finally going to get some on-set pics, as filming is set to start in the next few weeks.

I am certainly looking forward to seeing what this new movie can produce in terms of content and the direction it will take Mad Max in. Just please for the love of god don't let it be anything like Beyond Thunderdome.
