First Official Image Of Daniel Day-Lewis As Lincoln

Entertainment Weekly have released the first official pic showing what a great job Spielberg and his team have done with casting as Daniel Day-Lewis almost looks like a body double for the 16th President of the USA.

The biopic aptly titled Lincoln follows the well renowned president for the last four months of his life, as he tries to bring the Civil War to an end, while also abolishing slavery.

Lincoln also stars Sally Field, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Jackie Earle Haley and Jared Harris, and opens in the US on 16 November 2012, before arriving in the UK on 25 January 2013.

This is one picture sure to be up for an Oscar.
