'Hick' Releases First Trailer

Chloe Moretz stars in this first trailer which, for a 15 year old who has had her fair share of controversial roles seems to be topping the list so far.

The movie deals with Luli, a 13-year-old girl who runs away from her trailer park home in Nebraska in order to escape her mother's string of alcoholic boyfriends and set up a new life amid the bright lights of Las Vegas.

On her travels she comes across Blake Lively's kind-hearted grifter and Eddie Redmayne's menacing cowboy, and it isn't long before her coming of age story begins to take a sinister twist.

With supporting cast in the form of Alec Baldwin, Juliette Lewis and Rory Culkin, this looks like a film that is heavy in tone but well worth a watch.

Hick opens in the US on 11 May 2012, with a UK release date to be confirmed.
