First Look At Elijah Wood In 'Maniac'

There has been a resurgence in 80's horror movie remakes lately, and among those is Maniac this time around played by Elijah Wood.

He plays an unhinged owner of a mannequin store, who uses the internet to stalk women before tracking them down and killing them. Nothing we have not seen before right, only this film reportably puts the audience front row and centre in the grisly killings by using point of view shots, meaning scenes will be shot through the eyes of the killer.

Judging from the pictures it looks like he is drawing on his previous experience from movies Green Street and Sin City.

The movie is currently set for a 2013 release date.
